Job description
Full-time locum tenens (locums-to-perm opportunity) for a Hematology/Oncology physician at Mass General Brigham's Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, MA.
- Well-established practice with 5 other MDs and APP support
- Adult patient population; about 8 patient encounters per week
- One assigned nurse plus APP support
- Locum-to-perm opportunity while the practice recruits a permanent provider
- Epic charting; clinic plus call
Job Responsibilities
• See existing patients plus 2-3 new patients, about 8 patient encounters per week
• Manage bleeding/clotting disorders, anemia, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, iron and hormonal therapy, and solid tumor and hematologic malignancies
• Take call about 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend every 6 weeks
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience; Epic experience required
• Active Massachusetts license and DEA
• ACLS and BLS required
