Schedule & Call:
- Monday–Friday schedule: 8-hour daily shifts (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Call requirement: 1:4 Beeper/Phone call rotation (Weeknight call + Weekend call)
- Coverage breakdown: 80% outpatient clinic care / 20% inpatient rounding and consults
- Minimum commitment: Full-time availability preferred (Candidates offering 4-week blocks at a time preferred; minimum 2–3 weeks per month considered)
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient medical oncology care and inpatient consultation
- Daily patient volume: 16–20 patients per day in clinic; 2–4 patients per day in the hospital
- Community-based practice serving 100% adult patient population
- Manage inpatient consults and outpatient treatment plans independently
- No teaching or leadership duties required
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Medical Oncology / Hematology & Oncology
- Completed Fellowship in Medical Oncology
- Minimum 2+ years clinical experience required
- Active Ohio state medical license OR active IMLC (Willing to license qualified candidates)
- Active ACLS certification and DEA registration
- Clean background and clean malpractice history required (no exceptions)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Ohio state medical license or IMLC in hand for accelerated start
- Epic EMR experience preferred
