Aya Healthcare is seeking a full-time Hematology/Oncology physician for a locum tenens assignment (through March 2027) at WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg, PA, supporting a brand-new community oncology and hematology practice opening in September 2026.
• New practice located inside the hospital; one employed physician already hired
• Support staff includes 2 front office, 1 RN, 1 MA and 1 Navigator; adult patients only
• Approximately 10 patients per day, expected to grow; case mix about 60% oncology / 40% hematology
• Inpatient consults at the 131-bed hospital as needed; Epic EMR
• Four days per week is acceptable; weeknight and weekend call approximately 1:2

Job Responsibilities

• Complete inpatient consults at the hospital as needed
• Take weeknight and weekend call (about 1:2)
Qualifications
• Active PA license or IMLC LOQ required to present (willing to license)
• DEA required
• Full-time commitment (4 days per week acceptable)
