Aya Healthcare is seeking a full-time Hematology/Oncology physician for a locum tenens assignment (with locum-to-perm potential) at Cooley Dickinson Hospital (Mass General Brigham) in Northampton, MA, covering for a departing permanent provider.
• Practice of 5 MDs with one assigned nurse and APP support
• Four clinical days per week plus one admin day; approximately 8 patient encounters per week, including 2-3 new patients
• Solid tumor and hematologic malignancy care, benign hematology, chemotherapy and immunotherapy management
• Weeknight call about 1 night per week and 1 in 6 weekends
• Epic EMR; August start ideal but flexible

Job Responsibilities
• Treat bleeding and clotting disorders and anemia; manage oral and infusible iron
• Manage chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, immunotherapy and hormonal agents
• Care for solid tumor and hematologic malignancies (breast, head and neck, GI, GU, GYN, neuro, thoracic, hepatobiliary)
• Take weeknight and weekend call
Qualifications
• 2 years of experience minimum
• Active Massachusetts license required (cannot license)
• ACLS, BLS and DEA required
• Epic experience required
