Job description
Aya Healthcare is seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician for a 6-9 month locum tenens assignment at Rochester Regional Health's Canton-Potsdam Hospital in Potsdam, NY. Full-time coverage is highly preferred, though a near full-time schedule may be considered.
• Outpatient oncology clinic with a 15-chair infusion area; occasional inpatient consults
• Approximately 18-20 patients per day
• Treatments include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and hormone therapy
• Support team includes 1 NP and 3 CNA/CMAs; Epic EMR with AI charting available
• Growing program seeking a flexible and adaptable provider

Job Responsibilities
• Manage chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and hormone therapy
• Oversee a 15-chair infusion area
• Complete occasional inpatient consults
• Work with an NP and CNA/CMA support staff
Qualifications
• 5 years of experience minimum
• New York license in hand required
• Epic experience required
• Flexible and adaptable; comfortable in a growing program
