The Deaconess Cancer Center is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible physician with fellowship training or subspecialty interest in neuro-oncology to lead and grow care for patients with primary and metastatic brain and central nervous system tumors.
This is a unique opportunity to join a highly collaborative, disease-site-focused oncology program with strong institutional support for sub-specialization, program development, and clinical innovation in neuro-oncology.
Program Highlights

- Multidisciplinary Excellence: Join a collegial, multidisciplinary team of providers from various specialties, including engaged neurosurgery group. Our group thrives on collaboration, mentorship and shared decision-making.
- Dedicated Tumor Board: Neurologic malignancies tumor board, part of a specialized tumor board structure that also includes GI, urologic, head and neck, cutaneous, gynecologic, thoracic, breast and hematologic malignancies.
- Advanced Infrastructure: Epic EMR with Beacon oncology module, Abridge AI documentation and ordering assistance.
- Robust Support Team: Experienced APPs, oncology pharmacists, nurse navigators, dietitians, social workers, palliative care, and rehab specialists.
Clinical Practice
- Flexible 4- or 5-day workweek
- 1:8 call schedule
- Opportunity to develop a focused neuro-oncology practice while maintaining optional general oncology exposure.
- Strong referral base across a large regional footprint
Compensation & Benefits
- $700,000 guaranteed base salary (Year 1) with average earnings over $1M
- Productivity incentives + APP supervision compensation + Quality Bonus
- Up to $100,000 sign-on bonus plus training stipends available for current Fellows
- Comprehensive benefits package, including:

- CME: 5 days + $3,500 annually

Ideal Candidate
- Fellowship training and/or strong clinical interest in neuro-oncology
- Commitment to multidisciplinary, patient-centered cancer care, partnering closely with neurosurgery, radiation oncology, and neurology
- Interest in program development and neuro-oncology disease-site leadership
- Interest in neuro-oncology clinical trials – strongly encouraged
- Collaborative mindset within a growing oncology service line
