Job Type: Locum Tenens – Physician

EMR: EPIC
The physician will provide outpatient medical oncology and hematology services to new and established patients, working collaboratively with nursing and administrative staff in a supportive clinical environment.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct patient consultations, evaluations, and follow-up visits.
Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
Order appropriate treatments and coordinate ongoing patient care.
Review and manage laboratory results, diagnostic findings, and other clinical information.
Address electronic in-basket messages and patient care-related requests.
Monitor treatment response and adjust care plans as clinically appropriate.
Coordinate care with nursing staff and other members of the clinical team.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in EPIC.
Ensure continuity of care throughout the assigned coverage period.
Qualifications
Board Certification in Medical Oncology, Hematology/Oncology, or Hematology.
Active Pennsylvania medical license, or eligibility to obtain licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
IMLC candidates may be considered with a Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand.
Experience managing outpatient medical oncology and hematology patients.
Ability to independently evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and manage clinical results.
EPIC experience preferred for efficient documentation and workflow management.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Working Hours
Shift Duration: 8 hours per day
Weekly Hours: 40 hours
Meal Break: 30 minutes
On-Call: No call responsibilities
Overtime: Not permitted
Holiday Coverage: Not required
