Aya Healthcare is seeking a full-time Hematology/Oncology physician for an ongoing Locum Tenens opportunity (minimum 6-month commitment) at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital in Ephrata, PA. Start date 11/9/2026.
- Rural community hospital and clinic with established patient panel; approx. 15 patients per day (60% hematology / 40% oncology)
- 14-chair infusion center plus 2-bed infusion room, oncology-certified nursing staff and onsite radiation oncology
- Support: 1.3 Hem/Onc physicians, 3 APPs and onsite pharmacist; tumor boards
- Consulting service only (hospitalists manage admissions); Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
• Work 5 clinic days per week with an established patient panel and 14-chair infusion center
• Take call approx. 1:2: weeknight call 4:15P-8A (inpatient + phone) and 2 weekends per month (24-hour call)
• Consulting service only; Epic EMR
Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• PA license or IMLC only; DEA required
