Aya Healthcare is seeking a full-time Hematology/Oncology physician for a Locum Tenens (locums-to-perm possible) opportunity at Cooley Dickinson Hospital (Mass General Brigham) in Northampton, MA. Ideal August start; interim coverage while the client recruits a permanent physician.
- Mass General Brigham affiliated acute care hospital and oncology practice in Northampton, MA
- Practice of 5 other MDs; assigned nurse plus APP support
- Approximately 8 patient encounters per week (Monday-Thursday), including 2-3 new patients
- Epic EMR; locum-to-perm opportunity
Job Responsibilities
• Treat bleeding/clotting disorders, anemia, solid tumors and hematologic malignancies; manage chemotherapy, immunotherapy, oral/infusible iron and hormonal agents
• Work 4 days per week plus 1 admin day (approx. 8 patient encounters per week)
• Take weeknight call (approx. 1 night per week) and 24-hour weekend call approx. 1 weekend every 6 weeks
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Massachusetts license required (not willing to license)
• ACLS, BLS and DEA required; Epic experience required
