Job description
Aya Healthcare is seeking a full-time Hematology/Oncology physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity (minimum 6 months) at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital in Ephrata, PA. Start 11/9/2026.
- Rural community setting with established patient panel; about 15 patients per day
- 14-chair infusion center, radiation oncology onsite, oncology-certified nursing, onsite pharmacist
- 1.3 Hem/Onc physicians and 3 APPs; disease-specific tumor boards
- Call 1:2 (consulting service only; hospitalists manage admissions); Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
• See approx. 15 patients per day; 14-chair infusion center and radiation oncology onsite
• Consulting service only; participate in tumor boards
• Call rotation 1:2 (inpatient + phone): 2 weekends/month, ~10 nights/month
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC
• DEA required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Minimum 6-month commitment
