The locum tenens HEM ONC opportunity:
Location: Birmingham, AL
Duration: April 5 – July 1 (Potential to extend as needed)
Schedule: Clinic Mon-Thurs from 8:00am-4:30pm. Off on Fridays. Full-time schedule strongly preferred
Shift: 8:00a-4:30p
Call requirements: 1:4 rotating 24hr weekend call. Rotating weeknight call 2 nights per week from M-TH only. Nurse on 1st call and very light call volume during the week. Mainly prescription refills and phone calls but may require coming in for emergencies (rarely happens)
Scope of practice: Hematology-Oncology with 50/50 split. Mix of clinic, IP consults and call coverage
Volume: 15-18 ppd
EMR: EPIC
Group Support: TBD
Hospital: Trauma III, 595 beds
Requirements (boards, license): Board Certified Medical Oncology with AL license or active IMLC LOQ in hand. Preference for clean NPDB
