Job description
Aya Healthcare is seeking a full-time Hematology/Oncology physician for a locum tenens assignment with a brand-new medical oncology and hematology practice located inside a 131-bed hospital in Lewisburg, PA.
- New community-based practice opening with one employed physician already hired
- Adult patients only; approximately 10 patients per day, expected to grow
- Support team includes an RN, MA, navigator, and front office staff
- Weeknight and weekend call approximately 1:2; Epic charting
- Contract runs through March 2027
Job Responsibilities
• See adult patients (18+), approx. 10 per day and expected to grow; general oncology and hematology (40/60 mix)
• Cover inpatient consults as needed; weeknight and weekend call about 1:2
• Supported by 2 front office staff, 1 RN, 1 MA, and 1 navigator; Epic charting
Qualifications
• Pennsylvania license or IMLC LOQ required
• DEA required
• Full malpractice disclosure required
