Med Ninjas is presenting a permanent Hematology/Oncology physician opportunity in Findlay, Ohio.
Seeking a Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Hematologist/Oncologist to join its growing cancer program. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in an independent, physician-led health system with an established referral base, comprehensive specialty support, and a newly expanded cancer center.

Permanent Physician - Hematology/Oncology in Findlay, OH

Shift: Four clinic days + one remote administrative day
Start Date: Open
End Date: Permanent position
Position Details:
Join an established team of 3 Hematology/Oncology physicians and 2 advanced practice providers. The position offers a balanced practice with 50% Hematology and 50% Oncology, an established referral base, and access to comprehensive specialty support across 54 specialties.
Patient Population: Hematology and oncology patients, including breast, colon, lung, and prostate cancers
Setting: Outpatient oncology clinic and inpatient hospital coverage
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive hematology and medical oncology care, manage patients with a variety of cancer diagnoses, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in the inpatient call rotation.
Required Procedures: Hematology and medical oncology evaluation and management
Support Staff: 3 Hematology/Oncology physicians, 2 APPs, oncology pharmacist, infusion services, laboratory, pharmacy, radiation oncology, genetic counseling, patient navigation, and multidisciplinary specialty support
Days Per Month: Full-time; four clinic days and one remote administrative day per week
On-Call/Weekends: 1:4 inpatient call rotation with additional call compensation

Requirements

• Truly Board Eligible within 5 years of eligibility or Board Certified in both Hematology and Medical Oncology
• Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days
• Not accepting locums or locums-to-perm candidates
• Not open to visa candidates
