Schedule & Call:
- Scheduled clinical hours plus call coverage
- Beeper call requirement for both inpatient and outpatient coverage
- Full-time holiday week commitment
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive hematology and medical oncology outpatient care and inpatient call coverage
- Manage inpatient hospital admissions and outpatient consultations
- Average volume of up to 25 patients per shift
- Supported by an onsite office staff including 3 RNs and 2 MAs
- No advanced practice provider (APP) or resident/teaching supervision required
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology & Oncology
- Active Virginia state medical license
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications
- Inpatient admissions capability
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fellowship training in Hematology & Oncology preferred
- Experience with oncology-specific EMR systems
Additional Details:
- Practice setting: Outpatient Clinic & Hospital Inpatient Coverage
- Daily volume: 25 patients per shift
- EMR: Onco-EMR
