Locums | Hematology/Oncology | Marshfield, WI (any state license via Act 10)
Why This Role
Any state license accepted via Act 10 expedited pathway
Full-time or 2–3 weeks/month considered
Long-term ongoing need with locums-to-perm potential
Temporary privileges available
Established MD/APP and infusion support
Assignment Details
Start: ASAP; ongoing
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a–5p with 1-hour lunch
Call: 1:4 weekly beeper call, Friday 7:30a–Friday 7:30a; 30-minute response
Rounding: 1–2 hours daily during call week; additional weekday rounding 4–5p
Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours + call
Volume: Approximately 15 patients/shift; 5–10 phone consults during call, rarely called in
Setting: Outpatient + inpatient
Support: 3 MDs, 3 APPs, RNs, MAs, navigators, infusion RNs, radiation oncology services
EMR: Cerner
Credentialing: Approximately 60 days
Clinical Details
Hematology/Oncology coverage required; not Medical Oncology only
Bone marrow biopsies required
Acute leukemia and inpatient chemotherapy coverage
Documentation/management of post-autologous stem cell transplant and post-CAR-T therapy patients
Clinic call includes add-on consults and chemotherapy patient coverage as needed
Requirements
BC/BE Hematology/Oncology
Any state license accepted via Act 10 expedited pathway
ACLS, BLS, and ATLS required
