Job description
A cancer center in Edmonds, WA, just north of Seattle, is looking for a full-time hematologist/oncologist for ongoing coverage. The assignment starts as soon as privileges are issued, with a 6-month commitment, and temporary privileges are available to help you start sooner. It is a hybrid practice, outpatient clinic plus inpatient, on Epic, supported by a full team of RNs, MAs and APPs. Pay is highly competitive and shared directly, with call and callback paid on top. Travel is covered, and long-term housing can be arranged with pre-approval.
Job Responsibilities
- Cover inpatient oncology patients in a 19-bed department, with no admissions required
- Take weeknight beeper call and 24-hour weekend beeper call
- Work in Epic alongside RN, MA and APP support
Qualifications
- Active Washington license or IMLC eligibility
- DEA registration
- BLS
