Medical Oncology Physician Position in New York

Opportunity Overview

• Urgent outpatient Medical Oncology coverage opportunity
• Holiday coverage needed for the week of December 28, 2026
• Four days of coverage
• Additional sporadic vacation coverage may be available in the future
• Outpatient oncology clinic with occasional inpatient consultations
• 15 treatment chairs
• Approximately 18-20 patients per day
• Clinic is currently experiencing growth, so provider should be flexible and adaptable
• Department support includes 1 MD, 1 NP, and 3 CNA/CMA staff

Schedule & Coverage

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• 1-hour blocked lunch
• Holiday coverage: week of December 28, 2026, for 4 days
• Additional sporadic vacation coverage in the future
• Overtime as needed
• Occasional inpatient consultations during normal operating hours

• Outpatient Oncology Clinic
• Approximately 18-20 patients per day
• Occasional inpatient consultations
• Treatment includes:
  • Chemotherapy
  • Immunotherapy
  • Targeted therapy
  • Hormone therapy
• EPIC EMR
• AI-assisted charting available
• Professional attire required

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible accepted
• Minimum 5 years of experience required
• Active New York medical license required
• Epic experience required
• AHA or RQI certification required
• Residents and Fellows will not be considered
• Current CV must be agency-branded and include complete work history
• No employment gaps of 30+ days
• If malpractice history exists, including dismissed cases, a physician statement is required
