Job description

Job description A hospital in the Seaside, OR area needs a Hematology/Oncology physician for ongoing outpatient clinic coverage, starting December 1, 2026. Clinic only, no call, no weekends, no inpatient work. Pay is $300.30/hr with 9 hours guaranteed every clinic day. Overtime applies after 10 hours in a day and pays $450.45/hr, and holidays pay $450.45/hr. Malpractice is provided. Long-term lodging support is available up to $2,500 per month. Credentialing runs about 90 days.

Job Responsibilities

Outpatient hem/onc clinic integrated with an infusion center, about 10 patients per day. Newly remodeled clinic with 9 infusion chairs and 4 exam rooms. Bone marrow biopsy experience is preferred. Resident and student teaching is part of the role. No call and no admissions.

Qualifications

Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology. Active Oregon license required (Oregon is not an IMLC state, so the license must be in hand or already in process). DEA required. BLS required. Clean malpractice and background file.

Working Hours

3 to 4 clinic days per week, 4 weeks a month. Tuesday through Friday preferred, with flexibility on days. 8a to 5p, or 7:30a to 5:30p, with a one hour lunch.

Skills

Outpatient hem/onc, infusion center integration, bone marrow biopsies (preferred). Epic EMR.
