Full-time locum tenens hematology and oncology coverage at a 131-bed hospital in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, from late November through January 4, 2027. You join a brand-new medical oncology and hematology practice that opened in September, built inside the hospital, with an employed oncology colleague and a dedicated team: front office staff, an RN, an MA, and a patient navigator. Care is community-based, adults only, with about 10 patients a day and growing, and a mix of roughly 60% oncology and 40% hematology. Call is shared on a 1:2 rotation, weeknights and weekends. Call pays $4,042.04 for a 24-hour day and $973.08 for a night, with call-back at $561.40 an hour. Clinic hours pay $505.25 an hour. Travel and lodging are covered.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient consults when they come in, in the same building as the clinic
- Share weeknight and weekend call on a 1:2 rotation
- Help shape workflow in a new practice, charting in Epic
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania license or an active IMLC letter of qualification, required to present
- Active DEA
- Documentation of full malpractice history and a current NPDB self-query
