Call Schedule: 1 week out of every 6-8 weeks
Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult, Geriatric
What Percentage of the Practice is Hematology %, Oncology %, Internal Medicine %: 65% benign hematology, 35% malignant oncology, 0% internal medicine
Number of Physicians in Practice: 7
How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 6
Average Number of Patients Per Day -outpatient: 25
Average Number of Patients Per Day - Hospital (Call/Rounding): 20
Clinical Area: Oncology - Outpatient Setting, Oncology - Inpatient Setting
Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
Required Duties: Participation on a Tumor Board, Mgmt. of Bone Marrow Transplants, Blood Bank, Orders Tests, Orders Images, Prescribes
Administration of Chemotherapy: Nurse Oncologist
Dates of Coverage:
- November 2 - January 29
- Clinic coverage is 8:30a-4:30p
- Weekend call rotation: Fri (4:30p) - Mon (8a) - every 5th or 6th weekend
Additional questions/Answered by the facility:
- Site requires providers to treat more than 12 patients per day.
- Inpatient is a requirement of this need.
- Can you clarify the patient volume for outpatient and inpatient. The outpatient service and the hospital service are separate. A provider would not be covering both on the same day.
