Hematology/Oncology Physician Locum Opportunity – Fort Myers, FL

We are seeking two Hematology/Oncology Physicians for long-term outpatient locum coverage in Fort Myers, Florida. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule with no call or weekend responsibilities and established clinical support.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: October 8, 2026
• Coverage expected through summer 2027
• 2 physicians needed
• Full-time, consistent coverage required
• Long-term locum assignment

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• No call
• No weekends
• Fixed schedule

Practice Setting

• Outpatient Hematology/Oncology
• Physician role
• Established clinical support team

Support Staff

• Physician Assistant
• Medical Assistant
• Registered Nurse

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient Hematology and Oncology care
• Evaluate and manage Hem/Onc patients
• Provide ongoing treatment and follow-up
• Collaborate with the established clinical support team
• Meet applicable procedure and case-log requirements for privileges

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certification required
• Active Florida medical license required
• Clean background required
• Clean NPDB required
• Must meet required procedure/case-log requirements

Credentialing

• Approximately 30 days
• Current CV required at submission
• Client-specific attestation form required at submission

Ideal Candidate

A Board Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician with an active Florida license who can provide consistent full-time coverage through summer 2027. This is a strong opportunity for a physician seeking a long-term outpatient assignment with a Monday–Friday schedule and no call or weekends.
