Job description
Hematology/Oncology locums coverage in Michigan with a steady outpatient clinic schedule and optional call. You will see adult patients in clinic three days per week with dedicated oncology support staff.
Highlights
- Ongoing coverage need, Monday, Wednesday, Friday outpatient clinic
- Optional night call and optional weekend 24 hour call
- Manageable clinic volume, 15 to 20 patients per day
- Strong onsite support, Oncology RNs, MAs, social worker, dietitian, nurse navigator
Practice Setting
- Clinic based Hematology/Oncology role with a mix of inpatient and outpatient setting involvement
- Adult only patient population
- Outpatient clinic care supported by a dedicated oncology care team
- Vacancy coverage due to a recruitment gap
Schedule
- Outpatient clinic coverage on Monday, Wednesday, Friday
- Clinic hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Optional night call coverage
- Optional weekend 24 hour call coverage
Cases and Procedures
- Hematology outpatient care
- Oncology outpatient care
- Participation in tumor board
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Michigan license required, will not wait for license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in Hematology/Oncology or Oncology
- BLS and ACLS required
