Practice Highlights

• Diagnose and stage a broad range of cancers through clinical assessment, imaging, and laboratory testing
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating:
  • Chemotherapy
  • Radiation therapy
  • Immunotherapy
  • Targeted therapies
• Monitor treatment response and adjust protocols as clinically appropriate
• Manage treatment-related side effects and provide supportive care focused on quality of life
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and expected outcomes
• Provide compassionate support throughout the cancer journey
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including:
  • Surgeons
  • Radiologists
  • Certified Oncology Nurses
  • Nurse Practitioners
  • Oncology Navigators
• Participate in clinical trials, research, and quality improvement initiatives
• Stay current with oncology guidelines, emerging therapies, and evidence-based practices
• Mentor healthcare staff in oncology-related practices
• Contribute to patient care planning and departmental initiatives focused on improving outcomes and efficiency

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology
• Completion of an accredited oncology residency/fellowship program
• Active Vermont medical license prior to start
• Clean malpractice and license history
• NPDB Self-Query Report pulled within 30 days
