A hospital in the Monroe, WI area needs a medical oncology/hematology physician, 11/30/2026 through 3/1/2027. $500/hour, $1,600/shift night call, $750/hr callback. Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm, with additional Friday clinic availability accommodated if preferred.

Job Responsibilities

Provide medical oncology and hematology clinic care, infusion center oversight, call coverage, and inpatient oncology consults, all limited to the Monroe site. Manage treatment-related adverse reactions and side effects. Adults 18 and older. Work alongside an APP onsite Tuesday-Thursday, 4-5 infusion RNs, a shared medical assistant, a phlebotomist, and a scheduler. Chart in Epic with Beacon treatment and therapy plans.

Qualifications

Board certified in Medical Oncology/Hematology required. Active Wisconsin license required, IMLC/Compact accepted. 1-2 years of medical oncology and hematology experience required.

Working Hours

Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm, plus optional Friday clinic availability. Call and inpatient consult coverage limited to Monroe.
