Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient and inpatient care to hematology and medical oncology patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives, including enrollment in cutting-edge clinical trials.
- Educate patients on treatment options, prognosis, and supportive care strategies.
- Engage in quality improvement activities and uphold clinical standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with institutional and regulatory policies.
- Contribute to community outreach and patient support programs.
- Potentially assume leadership roles as the practice expands.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Hematology and Oncology (BE/BC).
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in hematology and medical oncology.
- Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload in a fast-paced outpatient and inpatient setting.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with clinical research and participation in multi-center trials is a plus.
- Willingness to assist in community health initiatives.
- Candidates with previous experience working in regional or community oncology settings preferred.
