### Locums | Hematology/Oncology | Lapeer, MI (Active MI License Required) ### Why This Role

Assignment Details Assignment Status: Ongoing; no specific end date provided Physical Location: Lapeer, Michigan Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Hours: 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Setting: Adult outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic Call: Clinic call only, as needed Weekend Coverage: None Daily Volume: Approximately 15–20 patients EMR: Cerner Practice Structure: Previously a two-physician practice with NP assistance Reason for Coverage: Recruitment gap ### Requirements Board Certified in both Medical Oncology and Hematology Truly Board-Eligible candidates may be reviewed Active and unrestricted Michigan medical license IMLC candidates are not accepted Current BLS and ACLS At least two years of Hematology/Oncology experience Availability must be provided with presentation NPDB self-query dated within 30 days required at presentation Cerner experience preferred Provider must acknowledge that the position is physically located in Lapeer ### Clinical Details Evaluate and manage adult Medical Oncology patients Provide outpatient Hematology care Conduct new consultations and follow-up visits Oversee treatment plans and coordinate infusion care Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board Work with oncology RNs, medical assistants, a social worker, dietitian, and nurse navigator Utilize onsite infusion and CBC services
