We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology & Oncology Physician to join an established oncology program in Lima, OH. The physician will provide comprehensive cancer care as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team serving patients throughout Northwest Ohio.

The practice offers an outpatient focused environment with a broad range of hematologic disorders and solid tumor malignancies.

Job Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, & treat patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions
Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnosis, disease stage, & patient needs
Manage patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, & other systemic treatments
Diagnose & manage blood disorders and malignancies
Review & interpret laboratory, pathology, & imaging results
Monitor treatment response & modify therapy as clinically appropriate
Provide cancer surveillance & follow up care
Coordinate care with surgeons, radiation oncologists, primary care physicians, & other specialists
Participate in multidisciplinary cancer conferences & care planning as appropriate
Educate patients & families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, & supportive care
Maintain accurate & timely medical documentation

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of an accredited Hematology & Oncology fellowship
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology & Oncology
Eligible for or possession of an active Ohio Medical License
DEA registration or eligibility
Strong clinical, communication, & interpersonal skills
Commitment to high quality, patient centered cancer care
