Job description
Join a well-established academic-affiliated health network as a full-time Hematology/Oncology Physician, providing high-quality cancer and blood disorder care in a supportive, community-based outpatient setting with strong hospital backing.
What You'll Do:
- Manage a full range of hematology and oncology patients in an outpatient practice, with inpatient/hospital involvement as needed
- Oversee and coordinate care for infusion center patients
- Collaborate with a hospitalist team on inpatient evaluations, follow-up, and treatment coordination
- Serve as a mentor and resource for nursing staff within the cancer center
- Participate in tumor board, cancer committee, and Commission on Cancer (CoC) accreditation activities
- Contribute to policies, staff education, and community outreach initiatives
- Provide telephone triage and support for urgent patient needs
What You'll Bring:
- MD from an accredited medical school
- Active (or eligible) New York medical license
- Board certified or board eligible in Hematology/Oncology
- Strong communication skills and excellent bedside manner
- U.S. work authorization required (no visa sponsorship available)
