Job description A hospital in the Lewisburg, PA area needs a full-time Medical Oncologist/Hematologist for a new community oncology and hematology practice opening September 2026, starting October 12, 2026 through March 8, 2027 with option to extend. Pay is $510/hr, $4,100/24-hour call, $800/night call shift, $555/hr callback (2 hours gratis on 24-hour call). Full-time only, Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, though a 4-day workweek will be considered, plus weeknight and weekend call on a 1:2 rotation. 10 patients per day currently, expected to grow. 60/40 oncology/hematology case mix. Clinic located inside a 131-bed hospital. Epic EMR.

Job Responsibilities

Provide outpatient medical oncology and hematology care in a new community practice. Visit the hospital for inpatient consults as needed. Participate in a 1:2 weeknight and weekend call rotation. Work alongside a growing support team (2 front office, 1 RN, 1 MA, 1 Navigator, and additional staff).

Qualifications

BC or BE in Oncology required. Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC Letter of Qualification required to present. DEA required. Full disclosure on all malpractice required for presentation, and per client screening criteria, cases involving a malpractice settlement over $500K or more than 3 settlements will not be considered (exception for cases over 20 years old).

Working Hours

Full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, 4-day workweek will be considered. Weeknight and weekend call, 1:2 rotation.

Skills

Comfortable joining a brand-new practice and helping build patient volume from the ground up. Comfortable with a 60/40 oncology/hematology mix and occasional inpatient consults. Epic EMR.
