UCHealth Cancer Care and Hematology Clinic – Harmony Campus is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician to join a progressive, collaborative team in Fort Collins, Colorado.
This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking for a strong clinical environment, minimal call, and access to a comprehensive oncology program.
Position Highlights
- Competitive annual salary: $489,000–$543,000
- Daytime schedule with potential flexibility based on scheduling needs
- Minimal weekend coverage
- Minimal call, shared with 13 other clinicians and 2 oncology hospitalists
- Team includes 9 physicians and 8 APPs, along with dedicated support staff
- EPIC EMR
- Progressive, disease-specific approach to cancer care
- Opportunities to participate in clinical research and innovative treatment methodologies
- Consultations and second opinions for complex cancer cases
- Permanent position only – NOT accepting locums or locums-to-perm
- Unable to support visa candidates
Clinical Responsibilities
The Hematology/Oncology Physician will provide comprehensive care for patients with a variety of cancer and hematologic conditions, including:
- Leukemia
- Lymphoma
- Myeloma
- Solid tumors and other complex cancers
- Hematologic disorders
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct patient care and developing individualized treatment plans
- Evaluating and managing complex oncology cases
- Providing consultations and second opinions
- Collaborating with nurse navigators and care managers
- Working closely with physicians, APPs, nurses, and multidisciplinary support teams
- Staying current with innovative oncology treatments and technologies
- Participating in clinical research and incorporating emerging treatment methodologies
- Utilizing EPIC for clinical documentation and patient management
- Contributing to quality, safety, and high standards of patient care
Compensation & Benefits
