DocStar Medical Partners is currently seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology physician for a full-time locum opportunity in Richmond, Indiana, beginning December 1, 2026.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Location: Richmond, IN, with coverage at nearby satellite locations
- Start Date: December 1, 2026
- Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Monday: Off/Admin Day
- Coverage Needed: Full-time — 4 weeks per month
- Patient Volume: Approximately 18–20 patients per day
- Case Mix: 35% Hematology / 65% Oncology
- Call: Rotating night and weekend call
- Weekend call: Friday 5:00 PM–Monday 7:00 AM
- Call includes primary physician rotation and backup to APPs
- Physician is generally available by phone and comes into the hospital if needed
- Satellite Coverage:
- Location 1: Wednesdays
- Location 2 (30 min away): 1st & 3rd Thursdays
- Telemedicine: No
Requirements:
- Active Indiana license or IMLC eligibility
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (certification within 5 years of residency)
- 2+ years of experience preferred
- BLS required
- ACLS required if requesting conscious sedation privileges
- Case logs required
The facility is specifically seeking a physician who can provide consistent full-time coverage for 4 weeks each month and participate in the call rotation.
