We are seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for a locum tenens position in Michigan City, Indiana. This is an outpatient clinic opportunity managing new patient consultations and follow-up visits, with no call responsibilities. Please see below for more information.
- Setting: Outpatient clinic
- EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage new and established hematology and oncology patients, with a clinic scope of approximately 20 patients per day
Manage new patient consultations and follow-up visits
Develop and manage chemotherapy treatment plans
Apply NCCN guidelines in clinical decision-making
Manage and respond to medication- and chemotherapy-related adverse events
Qualifications
Active Indiana medical license required
Active DEA registration required (or one that can be readily transferred)
Working Hours
No call required
