### Locums | Hematology/Oncology | Eureka, CA (Active CA License Required) ### Why This Role

Assignment Details Location: Eureka, California Start Date: October 1, 2026 Earlier Start: A September start may be possible through temporary privileges End Date: Ongoing Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM and 1:00 PM–5:00 PM Commitment: 2–4 weeks per month Setting: Inpatient and outpatient Call Rotation: Approximately one week out of every three Weeknight Call: Beeper call after regular clinic hours Weekend Call: 24-hour beeper call After-Hours Response: Phone response only; onsite callback is not expected Credentialing: Approximately 60–90 days Temporary Privileges: Available for qualified candidates with clean files EMR: Epic ### Requirements Board certified or truly board eligible within 3–5 years of residency Active California medical license Active DEA registration Active BLS certification Two years of current inpatient Hematology/Oncology clinical activity and case logs Current CV with explanations for gaps longer than three months Clean professional background required for temporary privileges Hospital privileges required ### Clinical Details Approximately 12–15 patients per shift Clinic and hospital coverage Oncology clinic attached to the chemotherapy treatment center and hospital COC-accredited program managing approximately 500 analytic cases annually Support staff includes: - 10 RNs - 4 Medical Assistants - 3 NPs/PAs - 5–6 office staff members No APP supervision or teaching responsibilities Long-term lodging assistance available within facility policy
