Job description
Join a well-established healthcare team as a Locum Hematology/Oncology Physician providing a mix of outpatient clinic, infusion suite, and inpatient consult coverage. This ongoing locums-to-permanent opportunity offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no call, collaborative support staff, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while caring for adult hematology and oncology patients in a community-focused setting.
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for adult hematology and oncology patients.
Perform inpatient consultations and manage admissions as needed.
Round on assigned hospitalized patients and coordinate ongoing care.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
Document patient encounters accurately using the MediTech EMR.
Participate in a Monday–Friday coverage schedule across multiple practice locations.
Qualifications
Active Kentucky medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology preferred.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Experience in both outpatient and inpatient hematology/oncology settings preferred.
Comfortable providing clinic, infusion suite, and inpatient consult coverage.
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills.

Call: No call required
Shift Setting: Outpatient clinic, infusion suite, and inpatient consult coverage as needed
