Hematologist/Oncologist
Assignment Details
• Location: Celina and Lima, Ohio
• Start Date: September 1, 2026
• End Date: January 18, 2027
• Practice Setting: Outpatient Cancer Center
• Coverage Reason: Maternity leave
• Provider will credential for both locations
Compensation:
Hourly - $275/hr
Overtime - $410/hr
Schedule
• Monday–Wednesday
• 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• No call
• No weekend coverage
Clinical Details
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• 60% Hematology / 40% Oncology
• Average Outpatient Volume: 13 patients per day
• Average Inpatient Rounding: 2 patients per day
• Outpatient hematology/oncology care
• Duties include:
• Patient evaluations
• Ordering and interpreting laboratory and imaging studies
• Prescribing treatments
• Participation in tumor board discussions
• Chemotherapy administration performed by Oncology Nursing staff
• EMR: Epic
• Level II Trauma Center
Requirements
• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
• Active Ohio license preferred
• BLS certification required
• Clean background required
• Must confirm availability for the entire assignment (September 1, 2026–January 18, 2027, Monday–Wednesday)
Credentialing
• Estimated timeframe: 120 days
Additional Information
• Travel reimbursement includes airfare, lodging, rental car, and IRS mileage reimbursement.
