Job description
We are seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for a locum tenens position in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. This is a community-based medical oncology and hematology practice with the clinic located inside the hospital. Please see below for more information.
- 131-bed facility
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
• Manage a case mix of approximately 60 percent oncology and 40 percent hematology
• See approximately 10 patients per day, with volume expected to grow
• Provide inpatient consults at the hospital as needed
• Treat an adult patient population ages 18 and older
• Collaborate with nursing, medical assistant, and patient navigator support
• Provide weeknight and weekend call coverage, including call-back response
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC LOQ
• DEA
Working Hours
Full-time coverage; four days per week accepted
Weeknight and weekend call at 1:2
