Job description
We are seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for a locum tenens position in Potsdam, New York. This is a primarily outpatient opportunity within an acute care hospital system, in a program currently experiencing growth. Please see below for more information.
- Level III Trauma Center
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
• Carry a daily patient load of approximately 18 to 20 patients
• Administer and manage chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy
• Provide inpatient consults on an occasional basis
• Practice with established clinical experience in hematology and oncology management
Qualifications
• Active New York medical license in hand
• Epic EMR experience
Working Hours
Five 8-hour shifts per week
Full-time strongly preferred; near-full-time schedules considered
No call
