Job Responsibilities
- Provide hematology and oncology care in a predominately outpatient setting with some inpatient consultation.
- Collaborate with a team of providers and support staff to manage patient care effectively.
- Participate in weekly tumor boards and ongoing research activities.
- Utilize advanced EMR systems for patient management.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology required.
- Must have ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Completed fellowship in Hematology and Oncology.
- Prior experience in a similar setting preferred.
Working Hours
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Call is 1:2, performed via phone with minimal disturbances.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency with ONCO EMR and comfort in using technology to enhance patient care.
- Ability to handle a busy practice with a patient load of 10-15 patients per day.
