Job description
We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician for a locum tenens position at Canton-Potsdam Hospital (Rochester Regional Health - St. Lawrence Region) in Potsdam, New York. Full-time is highly preferred, with flexibility for near-full-time schedules. Please see below for more information.
- Outpatient clinic (occasional inpatient consults)
- Epic EMR (AI charting available)
- 15 infusion chairs
- 18-20 patients per day
- Treatments include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy
- 6-9 month assignment; program in a period of growth
Job Responsibilities
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy
• Provide occasional inpatient consults as needed
• Utilize Epic EMR for charting (AI charting available)
• Collaborate with support staff (1 MD, 1 NP, 3 CNA/CMA)
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• New York license in hand required
• Epic experience required
• Flexible and adaptable (program in a period of growth)
