Located in Waterloo, IA – Cedar Falls 10m; Cedar Rapids 60m; Des Moines 125m
Full-time; Permanent; Employed
Seeking BC/BE in Hematology and/or Oncology
H1B Cap-Exempt Visa Assistance; J1 Waiver Sponsorship
Overview:
* Join an established team of physicians and advanced practice providers in a busy community cancer center
* Outpatient-focused practice with more than 100 new patients per month
* Full-service infusion center, laboratory, and clinic services located onsite
* Average daily patient volume of 14-18 patients
* Call schedule of 1:6 with alternating primary and backup call supported by APPs
* Large hospitalist team provides inpatient support
* Multidisciplinary tumor boards held twice monthly for breast and lung/general oncology cases
* Onsite support includes social work, nurse navigators, dietitians, tumor registrar, and pharmacy services
* Bone marrow biopsies, infusion services, and laboratory capabilities available onsite
* Community outreach opportunities focused on prevention and early detection
* Flexible scheduling with dedicated administrative time and a fully integrated Epic EMR system
