Hematology/Oncology Medical Director Opening in VT
Located in Bennington, VT; Albany 40m
Full-time; Permanent position
BE/BC
Minimum of five years of clinical practice and two years of clinical leadership experience
Overview
70/30 split between direct patient care and administrative activities
Provides clinical oversight to ensure efficient and effective clinical operations are achieved and maintained
Participate in and be a change advocate for the development and implementation of new medical strategic initiatives
Assure compliance with national accreditations
Advocate for and demonstrate success in enrolling patients in cancer center clinical trials and assist in the development of an expanded clinical research program
Participate in the organization of clinical information systems to improve patient safety and enhance care delivery
Lead provider recruitment activities
Participate in budgeting and financial planning activities
Perform provider performance evaluations
Benefits
Salary Range $500,000 - $510,000; this position includes a comprehensive benefits package through Dartmouth Health
A sign-on bonus, retention incentives and relocation stipend may be available, subject to eligibility
Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) through 501 C 3 nonprofit status
