Job description
We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician for a locum tenens position in Ephrata, PA. This is a full-time outpatient and inpatient oncology opportunity in a rural community setting. Please see below for more information.
Job Responsibilities
Manage solid tumor oncology, benign hematology, and malignant hematology
Supervise inpatient hematology/oncology service
Work with an established patient panel
Participate in disease-specific and general tumor boards
Collaborate with on-site infusion center and radiation oncology
Supervise APPs
Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania medical license (IMLC accepted)
DEA registration
Minimum 1 year experience
Epic proficiency
Working Hours
First patient at 8:15/8:30a; last patient at 3:30p
Weekend call: 2 weekends/month (24-hour coverage)
Weeknight call: 10 days/month (4:15p-8a)
Call rotation 1:2
