A leading Cancer Center in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician for a long-term locum assignment. If you're looking for a hematology-focused practice with a collaborative team and manageable call schedule, this is an outstanding opportunity.

👨⚕️ Position: Locum Hematology/Oncology Physician
Opportunity Highlights
⭐ Long-term assignment (Approx. October 2025 – December 2026)
⭐ Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM outpatient clinic
⭐ Shared 1:5 call with strong APP support (5 PM–7 AM)
⭐ 90%+ Hematology focus (Benign & Malignant)
⭐ Cancer Center attached to the hospital
⭐ Epic EMR
⭐ Collaborative team of 6 Physicians and 11 APPs
Practice Details
✅ Outpatient clinic, inpatient consult service & infusion center
✅ Adult & Geriatric patient population
✅ Average 15 outpatient patients/day
✅ Average 10–15 inpatient consults/day
✅ Benign hematology cases outnumber malignant cases
✅ Limited solid tumor coverage when needed
✅ Community-based practice with diverse hematology cases
Clinical Responsibilities
✔ Inpatient & outpatient hematology care
✔ FNA/Biopsy procedures
✔ Tumor Board participation
Candidate Requirements
✔ Board Certified Hematology/Oncology
✔ Active Michigan License preferred (license assistance considered)
✔ BLS Certification
