Job Title: Physician - Hematology Oncology

The Armes Family Cancer Care Center offers a comprehensive range of services in a newly expanded facility, featuring dedicated medical and radiation oncology, as well as access to advanced resources like Mayo Clinic eConsults.

Job Responsibilities

• Work four clinic days plus one remote administrative day.
• Maintain a balanced practice comprising 50% Hematology and 50% Oncology.
• Be part of an established referral base for various cancers, including breast, colon, lung, and prostate.
• Collaborate with a team of 3 Hematology/Oncology physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
• Participate in 1:4 inpatient call with additional call compensation.
• Benefit from 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist coverage.
• Access full specialty support across 54 specialties.
• Participate in clinical trials, genetic counseling, and patient navigation.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in both Hematology and Medical Oncology (within 5 years of eligibility).
• Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

License and Certification Requirements

• Valid Ohio medical license (compact licenses not accepted).
• Board Certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology is required.
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days, active).
