Job description Des Moines, IA – Permanent Hematology/Oncology Physician Availability Needed Providers Needed
  • Multiple Hematology/Oncology Physicians
Position Type
  • Permanent
  • Primarily Outpatient
  • Opportunity to help build and grow a new Hematology/Oncology team within an established statewide cancer program
Licenses & Certifications Required
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
  • Active DEA
  • Current unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications
  • Eligible to work in the United States
    • J-1 Visa Candidates Welcome
    • H1-B Visa Candidates Welcome
Practice Details Schedule
  • 36 Patient Contact Hours Weekly
Patient Volume
  • Approximately 12–15 Patients Per Day
Clinical Setting
  • Primarily Outpatient
  • Hospital admissions managed by Hospitalist Service
  • APP support for inpatient rounding
Call
  • Equitable physician second-call rotation
Case Mix
  • Solid Organ Tumors
  • Breast Oncology
  • Gynecologic Oncology
  • Hematology
Academic & Research Opportunities
  • Teaching opportunities with Residents and Medical Students

Compensation & Benefits Compensation
  • $600,000 Salary Floor
  • Production Compensation Begins in Year 3
  • $150,000 Recruitment Incentive
