We are seeking a Hematology and Oncology physician for an urgent locum tenens position in Knoxville, TN. This opportunity provides malignant hematology and bone marrow transplant consultation coverage at a Level 1 academic trauma center. Please see below for more information.
Trauma Level 1 (Adult and Pediatric)
EMR: Oracle/Cerner
Job Responsibilities
Provide malignant hematology and bone marrow transplant (TCT) consultation coverage
No solid tumor oncology - focus on malignant hematology only
Treatment planning and management for blood cancers and hematologic malignancies
Preferred: comfort with transplant-related hematology cases
Supervise and collaborate with MAs, RNs, and APPs
Qualifications
Tennessee State License or IMLC (required)
BLS
Clean background required
Working Hours
No call required (weekends and nights covered by other providers)
