Job description
We are seeking a Hematology and Oncology physician for a full-time locum tenens position in Ephrata, PA. This opportunity provides comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care in a rural community setting with an established patient panel and onsite infusion and radiation oncology support. 14-chair infusion center onsite
EMR: EPIC
Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive solid tumor oncology care
Manage benign and malignant hematology cases
Oversee infusion center patient care and treatment plans
Participate in disease-specific and general tumor boards
Provide weeknight and weekend inpatient consultation and phone call coverage
Work as consulting service for hospital inpatient cases (hospitalists manage admissions)
Qualifications
Pennsylvania State License or IMLC (required)
DEA
Minimum 1 year experience
Working Hours
Weeknight call: 4:15 PM - 8:00 AM (2-3 calls per evening)
Weekend call: 24-hour coverage (2 weekends per month)
Call rotation: 1:2
