Hematology/Oncology Physician – Full-Time Coverage – Pennsylvania

We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for a full-time locum opportunity beginning September 2026. This assignment offers the unique opportunity to support a newly established community-based Oncology and Hematology practice with a stable weekday schedule and optional call.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: September 2026
• Contract through March 2027
• Full-time coverage needed
• New Oncology/Hematology practice opening in September

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Optional call coverage available

Practice Setting

• Community-based Hematology/Oncology practice
• Hospital-affiliated outpatient clinic
• Adult patient population only
• Epic EMR

Clinical Responsibilities

• General Hematology
• General Medical Oncology
• New patient evaluations
• Follow-up visits
• Treatment planning and management
• Collaborative oncology care

Patient Population

• Adults (18+)
• Community oncology and hematology patients

Support Staff

• Front office support
• Registered Nurse
• Medical Assistant
• Patient Navigator
• Additional clinical support personnel
• Existing employed Hematology/Oncology physician

Requirements

• Physician (MD/DO)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
• Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC LOQ required
• DEA required

Credentialing

• Approximately 90 days
