We are seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for a locum tenens position in Ephrata, PA. This is a clinic and hospital consulting opportunity in a rural community setting, with on-call coverage required. Please see below for more information.
EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
Manage a patient mix of approximately 60% hematology / 40% oncology, including solid tumor oncology, benign hematology, and malignant hematology
See an average of 15 patients per day
Oversee care in a 14-chair infusion center and 2-bed infusion room onsite
Participate in tumor board
Work alongside Advanced Practice Providers, an onsite pharmacist, and onsite radiation oncology support
Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC
DEA
Working Hours
Weeknight call 4:15p–8:00a; weekend call 24-hour
Approximately 2 weekends/month and 10 nights/month (1:2 rotation)
