WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician for an ongoing locum tenens assignment in Potsdam, New York. This opportunity offers a primarily outpatient practice setting with excellent support staff, modern technology, and a manageable patient volume.

Assignment Overview

• Specialty: Hematology/Oncology
• Location: Potsdam, NY
• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Length: 6–9 Months
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Full-Time Availability Preferred
• Part-Time Providers Will Be Considered
• Ongoing Coverage Need

Practice Setting

• Primarily Outpatient Oncology Clinic
• Occasional Inpatient Consults May Be Required
• Established Cancer Care Program
• 15 Infusion Chairs

Patient Volume

• Approximately 18–20 Patients Per Day

Treatments & Services

• Chemotherapy
• Immunotherapy
• Targeted Therapy
• Hormone Therapy
• Hematology Evaluations and Management
• Oncology Consultations and Follow-Up Care

Support Staff

• 1 Nurse Practitioner
• 3 CNA/CMA Support Staff
• Collaborative Clinical Environment

Technology

• Epic EMR
• AI-Assisted Charting Tools Available

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
• Active New York License Preferred
• BC/BE Candidates Accepted
• Preference for Physicians with 5+ Years of Experience
• Will Consider Physicians with Less Experience
